What We Do

Attorneys at the Auburn, California, law firm of Reynolds Maddux Woodward LLP offer advice, individualized services and effective representation to clients with a wide variety of legal issues. Our practice areas include:

Business Law

Lawyers at our firm offer assistance for every stage of your business's development — from entity formation to dissolution. They provide outside-counsel services to both small and mid-sized companies based in Placer County and the surrounding areas of Northern California, and to national and international clients as well. Also see:

Construction

Our attorneys service all types of construction law needs throughout California. Members of our firm have also assisted general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, suppliers, and owners with large public and private works projects both here in California and around the world.

Real Estate

Our commercial and residential real estate practice includes purchases, sales, commercial lease negotiation and commercial landlord-tenant matters, condominium and homeowners' association issues, real estate boundary disputes, environmental matters and much more. Also see:

Land Use and Development

Our practice encompasses all aspects of the planning, zoning, subdivision, entitlement, permitting and construction of development projects. We are comfortable pursuing large-scale master-planned communities; hospitals; hotels and office buildings; universities; airports and other public infrastructure projects; industrial facilities for manufacturing and energy production and other uses. We are equally happy to assist our clients with small subdivisions, lot line adjustments, parcel maps and code enforcement actions.

Energy and Industrial Law

Although much of our work is based in Northern California, energy/industrial law is a national and international practice at Reynolds Maddux Woodward. From drafting letters of intent, power purchase agreements and EPC contracts for alternative energy projects in the Central Valley to negotiating fuel supply contracts and cogeneration agreements in Tunisia — there is no need too large, too complex or too far flung for us to address.

Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Appeals

Results-oriented, we are committed to resolving the concerns our clients bring to us quickly and cost-effectively through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration, or aggressively pursuing results in the courts.
